Communion Video Resources
These videos serve as examples of how a United Methodist pastor may preside at the Sacrament with grace, consistency, and integrity. The liturgy used is most often Word and Table I — the official United Methodist Eucharistic Liturgy. On other occasions, Word and Table II — a variation that allows for the incorporation of both a preface unique to the occasion as well as other adaptations — is used.

At the Table: A New Year's Holy Eucharist

This is a "close-up" communion, and is unique in that it brings the viewer into the midst of the receiving congregation. About a dozen members of the church had gathered for a 2005 New Years eve watch-night service and, during communion at midnight, they gathered around the Altar for the liturgy and to receive. This was one of our early online communion videos.
