
In Venezuela we took the Grand Tour of Caracas, an all-day excursion which included
a visit to Quinta Anauco, a well-maintained 17th-century manor
converted housing the Museum of Colonial Art. We then took the sky-lift up 7000 feet
to the top of Mount Avila, where we saw the Caribbean sea
on one side and Caracas on the other. We also visted the Boulevard of the Heroes
and the Murano Venetian Glass Factory.
