The United Methodist Women and the Global Connections Team
of the Missouri-East Conference of the United Methodist Church.
This was Reverend Neal's 4th year to serve as a Study Leader in Missouri.

The Theme for the 2002 Schools of Christian Mission was "Faith in Action."
The three studies were: James, Mexico, and Restorative Justice. Dr. Neal Taught
the Spiritual Growth Study on James.

Plenary Sessions:
Each of the Plenary Sessions focused on a theme from one of the studies,
and included worship, prayer, and frequently skits.

Dr. Neal's Classes
Greg had 2 groups, each with 30 students, which met during the mornings
and afternoons over the duration of the school.
His worship center was composed of (1) a candle, (2) the 10-Commandments,
(3) an Emmaus Cross, (4) a Communion Chalice, (5) a quilt which had been given to him
by his friend, Mrs. Francis, (6) a UM Hymnal, (7) an icon of the crucifixion

Dr. Neal Preaching and Celebrating Communion
Greg preached at the closing worship service on Sunday morning, and presided at the
Holy Eucharist, assisted by the other Study Leaders.
