Our fourth stop was made on the lovely Island of Maui, where we ported at classic Lahaina.
From Lahaina we took an excursion to the top of Mt. Haleakala, an extinct Volcano
which is 10,023 feet in elevation. The air was thin, but the views were fantastic.
Following our trip to the top of Haleakala, we visited the Iao Valley where the views were lovely.
The Ioa Needle -- a 2250 foot tall cinder cone -- is the central attraction there.
